Free Yoga in Hibner Park
Mondays 7:00 – 8:00 PM
First Day: June 17
Last Day: August 26
Starting next Monday, bring your mat or blanket and join your neighbours for a beginner-friendly practice. This means more focus on standing poses, not too much downward dog, all at a gentle pace. The aim is to have a class that anyone can join, and to connect with the community and nature in the lovely space that Hibner has to offer.
There will be a few extra mats if you need one. This is an evening practice, so consider bringing a sweater if it cools down, or to protect you from any mosquitoes. Water bottles are also a good idea!
RAIN: If it is actively raining, practice will be canceled and we’ll see you the next week.
**You are the boss of your own body. Any directions offered should be taken as suggestions. Do what feels good for you and leave the rest. Make this practice your own.**
If you want more yoga this summer, or can’t make the Monday times, The Branches will be teaching at Civic Park Wednesdays 12:30 – 1:15 PM and Thursdays 5:30 – 6:30 PM.
